Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Our goal at SCO Cloud is to make you feel comfortable moving your critical data and servers to the cloud. We pride ourselves in our technical ability and more importantly, our focus on you, our customer.
What kind of clients do you work with?
We work with business people who know the value of getting what you pay for. Our solutions are custom tailored to fit correctly into your business model. Our average client wants a complete solution which includes unmatched uptime, reliability, backups, speed, redundancy and replications.
How do I know if cloud computing is right for my business?
If your in-house servers are getting old, you should really consider migrating your critical applications to the cloud, instead of buying new servers. The redundancy, security, speed and reliability you will gain will allow you to stop worrying about your infrastructure, and start focusing on what really matters: your business.
Do I have to purchase new hardware?
For most customers, no, what you probably have in-house will allow you to connect securely to our cloud, however in some cases, where customers have very weak firewalls or slow internet connections, we will make recommendations on what you need to ensure rock solid reliability and high performance. The other guys can’t do that for you…we can even install it for you, wherever you’re located!
Will I still have remote access? Is it secure? Can my sales people access it?
Yes, in fact hosting with SCO Cloud will give you better access remotely than you’ve ever had! Our data centers are redundant in every way, from power, cooling, internet connections, etc…so where your office may fail or flood, our data centers keep on running. All access to your cloud infrastructure is secured with AES-256 bit encryption and Multi Factor Authentication.
