Deepak Thadani, President and CEO
Deepak Thadani comes to us as President of SysIntegrators, LLC, a technology-consulting firm, based in Armonk, NY. SysIntegrators, LLC has been a SCO Premier Partner since its inception in 2000. SysIntegrators, LLC focuses on SCO UNIX solutions, including OpenServer 5, UnixWare 7, and OpenServer 6. SysIntegrators, LLC is also a SonicWALL Gold Medallion Partner, a CISCO Certified Partner, and HP & VMware Certified. SysIntegrators, LLC has also been a Microsoft Silver Partner since 2000. Deepak has been supporting SCO UNIX since 1990. SysIntegrators, LLC has been awarded SCO’s Partner of the Year Award, and has always been a close supporter and follower of SCO and its UNIX line of products.
Deepak has served as President and Vice President of iXorg, Inc. and continues to serve as a Director. Deepak joined iXorg in 1995. Deepak was the founding member of SonicWALL’s VAR Advisory Council. Deepak also sits on the Ingram Micro Venture Tech Network North American Advisory Council and has served as the Big Apple Chapter President of VTN, winning Chapter of the Year awards three times in a row. Deepak is also the SonicWALL Champion for North America for Venture Tech Network.
Deepak taught beginning and advanced UNIX classes based on SCO OpenServer and Red Hat Linux as an adjunct professor at the City University of New York between from 1997 to 2003 and 2007. He was also awarded teacher of the year in 2003 Deepak has a Bachelor of Science, Cum Laude, in Computer Science from SUNY Stony Brook, located in Stony Brook, NY.
Robert Ungaretti, COO
Mr. Ungaretti (Bob) comes to us from Garett Group, LLC, a Baltimore, Maryland based SCO Premiere reseller, as owner and CTO. Bob started this consulting business in 1982 as a computer system integrator specializing in Unix based computer systems for business and industry.
Bob has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA and a Masters in Computer Science from Loyola College of Maryland, were he also created and taught masters level courses in Unix internals and application programming design and structure. Bob still servers on the Computer Science Advisory Board for Loyola University.
Bob is also President of iXorg, Inc., an international reseller organization of member companies whose common expertise is the sale and support of SCO operating systems and related technologies.
Tom Podnar, Reseller Channel Director – United States
Tom Podnar comes to us as President of Microlite Corporation in Alliquipa, PA. Tom has been involved with computers since 1971 and in 1983 founded Microlite Corporation. In the 1986/1987 Microlite began Designing and Manufacturing backup and bare metal disaster recovery software where today it's flagship product, BackupEDGE, is the most popular and most trusted backup and recovery technology used on SCO and Linux platforms worldwide.
